Hello all,

I was lucky and scored a Sigma DL Hyperzoom 28-200/3.5mm lens (for Nikon AF---D100). I checked out the Sigma site and they don't have support or downloadable links for the instruction manual for this lens and I'm coming up blank on Google. Can anyone post a link for the PDF or other formats for the instructions for this lens?

Anyone have any experience with this lens? I plan on using it for general shots ( my son, family, etc) while I use an older manual Kiron 28-210mm F/4.5-5.6 attached to a 2x Vivitar tele-converter for nature shots of eagles, seals, whales, wolves, deer etc. The manual lens will be for the long distance shots where I have time to pre-focus and set up, while the Sigma is more for everyday spontaneous shots.

Thank you,

Dan

Thank you for the responses. I did email their customer support department, but have yet to hear back from them. It probably isn't prioritized highly because it is not part of their current line or even the previous line. As for the manual from their download page, they don't have support for the DL line on their pages anymore.

I did find the instructions for the lens in a PDF file, but it was in Polish. I can't translate Polish...maybe Latin, Italian, Spanish, or German, but Polish is beyond comprehension for me. I tried variants of that web page address too, but no luck.

Can you tell us exaclty what you are looking to get information on? No offence, but lenses are generally not complicated things. Perhaps if you read some reviews of the lens, you may find your answer:

Sigma 28 to 200mm f3.5 to 5.6 and 28 to 300mm f3.5 to 6.3<br>New Compact Hyper Zoom Aspherical Macro Lenses | Shutterbug

I like to keep a binder of the paperwork for camera equipment. Just a habit I got into. I found that if I read the documentation, I sometimes learn something new that I overlooked or didn't know about. I always find out about a small aspect of the product that I didn't know about before and would have never used it unless I read the material. In the least, it familiarizes me with the all the aspects of the product and since I don't have any formal photography training, I look at it like taking a class.

I may have found someone that will scan the document for me. They must have seen my question here. Thanks for the help.
