@Eduard I'd certainly be interested in your thoughts on your 70-200mm Tamron, which in the UK looks about £600 cheaper than the Nikkor.

I literally just received it last week and haven't had an opportunity to take it out of the house due to work travel. Hopefully this week-end when I get home. In the mean time, you might want to check out the thread discussing it as it also has plenty of images.

I have the Sigms 105 2.8 macro and find it to be a great lens. I have found that before spending mega bucks that by renting a lens for a few days is a big help in making choices
