I own both and I strongly prefer Lightroom. But it's about preference. It didn't take me long to figure out that I wasn't crazy about Capture One.
I suggest you download trials and decide for yourself.
Don't u think capture one rendering is far superior to Lightroom 5?
If you prefer Capture One, then that is what you should get!!

I suspect his (and my) impression that you prefer Capture to LR has everything to do with the term "far superior" that you used in your post.
