I would expect those prices to increase even more on a regular basis until consumers cancel subscriptions in large numbers. Then it will flatten at that price. Question is, will it be $800/year?

I changed from monthly to annual and so pay the same as I have for years, now. No increase for me at all since the subscription plan started. $120 a year for both Lightroom and Photoshop is a great deal, in my book. I get that some people feel that a subscription plan is a way to get you to pay forever, but name any software that you don't have to buy new versions of every once in a while. That's if they even keep making/supporting that product.

We are being hit quite hard here in Europe as well: beginning in February, my monthly subscription will go from 11.99 euros to... 18.14 euros, a whopping 51 percent increase! 🤬 My grocery bill is left far, far behind...!

Like you guys, I can keep my previous monthly price if I switch to yearly payment. Not sure yet what I will choose. There6s sure to be a sting of some sort in the tail anyway, like next year they will hike the yearly payment too, with no possibility of going back. They have such a bad reputation!

I’ve often wondered what it does to work for a company that’s so appreciated for the quality of its products, yet so hated for the way it has always treated its customers, not to mention lied flat-out to them... I know that personally, I wouldn’t have wanted to work for Adobe.

For those who ONLY use Lightroom, Adobe Camera RAW is supposed to be free. It lacks the organizer that LR offers. The tools used to be the same (although with a different layout) but not sure if that is still the case. So if you don't need the organizer or Photoshop, you might want to check out Camera RAW.

I went to annual a couple years ago as well. During black Friday, there typically are deals like this which further reduce the cost. The last two years it was like getting the 1TB version for slightly less than the annualized 20GB monthly cost.

I took advantage of the sales the last two years and purchased an extra year using my wife's email as well as my own. I'm paid up with the 1TB version until November of 2027. I plan to watch again this year for another deal.
