The real confusion now surrounds Adobe's move to do away the "product" Photoshop and make it available as part of a "Creative Cloud" offer, which is a monthly subscription packaging of Photoshop with one or more other Adobe products. The "Photography Edition" bundles Photoshop and Lightroom. Other editions bundle include Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Premier Pro and various combinations of other software, all at different price points. Photoshop is still Photoshop, but you can't buy it separately as you used to (if you hunt you can find a box here and there).
