Don't look at the item but try to set up my strobes to get a white background? I need help.

You need to light the background and the subject separately. When doing so you need to pull the subject away from the background so the lighting doesn't interfere with each other.

And use a sheet or paper or some kind of softbox to take that harsh flash reflection off of the front. Alternative would indeed be photoshopping the background into a more pure white and/or light painting in the first place to avoid seeing the flash anywhere on the surface of the subject.

50mm lens work better? This room is just 13x14. I tried tonight and got the background white but the image is still getting blown out.
