About 300 pics to go thru but here are a few focusing on the folks enjoying Cristobal at Point Judith RI. Tough mid morning light.....but the action kept me shooting!

Took my Nikon 70-300 AF VR and created a surf photography thread. Shooting surfing with Nikon? Post em up there!

Good thread here, keep it going, I'm out of this one but look forward to checking in on more 70-300 AF VR images and talk and clicking a lotta likes!

Since the sports forum doesn't appear to get many views around these parts I thought I would jump back into this thread with a few snaps taken yesterday from the upper deck of the local D1 gym.

These aren't pro results obviously but since it appears F/2.8 pro glass is not in my near future I continue to feel this budget lens does a decent job. All pics were either ISO 4000 or 5000 I believe and were taken 12/31/2014 at Ryan Center Kingston, RI (University of Rhode Island) Very limited cropping only here, processed RAW images in capture NX-D.

Hope they are nearly as much fun for you all to view as they were to take!

(The D700 also continues to amaze)

BTW really looking forward to seeing @kamaccord the OP here post some pics with this lens from his new D4S!!

Pretty please? Hooking a cheap budget lens up with a super pro cam, well I am curious!!
