Let the grilling begin

Bought a small Weber grill because I really don't need the big one anymore and this is perfect for just two people.

Whenever I get a new grill the first order of business is to burn it in, season it if you like to get any oils out.

I have the same exact grill, goes with us camping. Once my big patio model dies, I'll get another small weber, they are really worth the money!

I just cooked brats for real this time and it heats up very fast I made a geat dinner. How long does the tank last?
Are those black things sausage? A bit overdone, wouldn't you say?
Oh yea I like to burn in a new grill.

I'd say I average 5-6 grillings? I think next time I put a new tank on I will time each grilling to get an idea. I'd probably get the adapter if I used it at home allot.

I also picked up the optional griddle for pancakes, ect. It works good, but you have to heat it up for a bit first.

I usually end up with those short Coleman tanks, they just hang there without touching the table. The Kmart by me has them 2/$5.00 sometimes and I'll stock up.

Note to self..... put foil under the chicken if you're closing the lid and not paying attention.

We have the little weber grill too. I love it for when its just me and my wife. You can't beat the larger grill though for chicken cremation.:grief:

Here in India the Weber are twice as expensive, so we use the good old charcoal grill made to order, by the same people who make them for commercial use.

Nice grill! I have one for camping. But I could never toss my big grill. Really hard to make beer chicken in those little guys. But I also tend to grill anything and everything 365 days a year.
