50mm 1.8g or 35mm 1.8G ? Which one you think is more better? I read a lot of information of both o think that is the 35mm but i'm not sure!

Thank you!

Which one is better - a Jaguar or a Cherokee "jeep"? The 50mm 1.8 covers a full frame, the 35mm does not. The 50mm is much sharper, almost void of distortions, whereas you could not say so for a 35mm DX. But, 35mm is "wider", no doubt. So, it all depends on your needs...

If it is for a DX camera I'd say the 35 f1.8 for me. It is the equivalent on the nifty 50mm that I learned on in my film days.. I have the 50 f1.8, but rarely use it. A bit too long for my use.

This is somewhat dependent on what/where you plan to shoot.

You may find the 50mm (if on a DX) a little tight for indoor shooting.

Both are quality lenses.

Nikkor 50mm would be almost ideal on a DX camera, as a portraiture lens. More suitable than 35mm. As for the 55-300mm, I would recommend it too (check the forum to find our colleague Siamthai's post with a lots of photos taken with this zoom).
