Well this week I sold the scoot. Went to the local camera shop in Lexington, Murphy's, and bought the Nikkor 200-500 and a grip for the D7200. Last night I ordered the Wide angle end of the spectrum. I ended up going with a Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM ELD SLD Aspherical Super Wide Angle Lens and it should be here Tuesday.

The photography portion of the MC cash is spent. I am thankful for a patient and encouraging wife.

I think I am done for a while...

Your never going to be able to say i dont have the lens for that,well i suppose you still can.

Congrats and well done. Have fun with this new toys. You certainly got a couple of very nice lenses!

I know I do. I am now completely satisfied with my gear. (I will wait for a while and see how the shutter holds up on the D500 and how many recalls it gets over a year or so before I start lusting after it):unconscious:

Although I've been looking at the 20mm 1.8 prime lens lately, since I now know that it will make me a better photographer...:cheerful:

I really am happy with what I have. It was harder giving up riding than selling the bike... but selling the bike was confirming what I already knew. I am very excited about my equipment... I feel like it is all more than I can handle, but I am a firm believer that it is better to grow into it than become bored with it too soon.

It will be a while before I need anything new... too much to learn with what I have... It is exciting to me. Not that long ago I was strong as an ox and 10' tall and bullet proof. Now not so much. But I so enjoy finding ways to work around those challenges. The big lens is a hoss to wield around, but i will get it.

Such a blessing and you all teach me a lot just with the discussions and photos... Although I have to admit the birds seem a bit more sneaky here in Kentucky than some of the places you all live. I can hear them sing, but they like to hide out in the ceder trees when I go outside :). It is hard for a big man to be stealth... but I am working on that too.
