Lens Confusion - B&W Photos / Street & Architecture

I'm in a bit of a quandary and would appreciate some advice.
I'm very new to photography and mainly shoot black-and-white architecture and street scenes with my Nikon Z6. At the moment, I have the Nikon Z 28mm f/2.8 and Z 40mm f/2 lenses, which I've been enjoying.
However, I've had a few people suggest that I'd be better off using either the Z 24-70mm f/4 S or the Z 35mm f/1.8 S instead.
Given the type of photography I enjoy, do you think either of those lenses would be a worthwhile upgrade, or should I stick with what I already have?
I'd be interested to hear everyone's thoughts and experiences. Thanks! 📷🙂

If you feel disappointed with your composure or framing of your photo, then by all means try some other lens. Otherwise, there is really nothing wrong with your lens kit. There is going to be trade-off with any change of lens. The 24-70mm f/4 zoom will cover your current focal lengths and beyond, but at f/4 it is a stop less in light. That is a trade off in exposure and in artistic bokeh. I see the 35mm prime as another compromise there being between the 40mm and 28mm. F/1.8 is not even a full stop gain in exposure, but could be enough to notice with bokeh.

It is a personal choice, don't be pushed by somebody else who might be trying to sell themselves on their choices still.
