Since posting that I'm buying a adapter that basically turns the 3" LCD screen on my Nikon L820 into a standard style viewfinder I've had some folks PM me asking to post a review on it. Well, it came today.

The process of mounting it is pretty straight forward. There is a metal plate with adhesive tape that gets applied around the LCD screen.

After that has been applied and allowed to set for about 30 minutes you can go ahead and attach the adapter. There are magnets on the adapter that are used to keep it in place. The magnets appear plenty strong enough to hold it in place. There is also a neck strap included to hold this around your neck when not in use.
First use: The website and instruction state that this can be used for video and picture reviewing. But, at least for me, and I wear glasses. The images were a touch out of focus. This of course doesn't effect the actual images. There is no focal adjustment on this device. There are models that do, but at almost three times the 29.00 USD of this one.
My conclusion is that this is a great device to use that will give you the ability to use you LCD screen only camera outside in bright light. The images are plenty clear enough to perfectly see what you are aiming at. But, like I said, with me I'm seeing a slightly out of focus image. I'm happy to have bought this and now I have a camera with a high zoom that can be fully used in strong light.
Rating? I would say 8 out of 10 due to the blurred images I see.
