jdeg the wonderful is moving everything over to new new server the afternoon/evening so there are been a few glitches along the way he has had to work on. I think most everything it working now.
Day 75
Went for a 3 hour drive this afternoon in search of a photo and virtually every time I do that I come back empty handed. The picture is either there or it isn't for me. Trying to "find" it doesn't seem to work.
I am now trying to make something out of the ones I got and putting myself under unnecessary pressure. UNNECESSARY!
So I will carry on with the exercise in my own time without any self made pressure by taking the easy way out here and simply post a horse whose colours I thought were interesting.
Oh and while I was out this heron flew towards me from out of nowhere. I had the wrong lens on and all the wrong settings but I thought "shoot anyway"
Blew the sky right out.
I suppose I could add sky from somewhere else.

Okey dokey …
The sunset was boring so I headed into the shopping mall to test the 35mm 1.8
The following shots were all hand held.
Farmers was my test shot. I will probably also post this in the Neon thread.
Up next is a special on sunglasses. I was restricted in my retreat by shop mall fixtures.
Then I went into Foundation Bar and Grill
Here I enjoyed the Jameson's advert
And Nik the barman tells me he is a part time model so I asked him to stick his head at the end of the tunnel of stacked bar stools.
I have heaps more and it was a fun outing. That's what it should be right?

A walk in the 'hood with my 18-105mm. Have I mentioned I love that lens? And have I thanked Don for his endorsement of it (who knows one day I may have a D7100 too!)?

And finally I promised @Deezey that I would have my version of his rice balls for lunch. They were delicious and inspired me to go and buy what I need to try sushi. Will make Deezeys again though whenever there is left over rice.

Yes getting sushi grade fish will be a challenge. For my first attempt today I will be making chicken and avo filling. I bought the Wasabi sauce which I don't really like and some ginger. It will be an easy enough attempt. Hopefully I will find a sushi grade fish outlet at some point.

Not pretty but "pretty" can be improved with practice.
They taste good. Hope flatmate agrees otherwise what will she eat?
