Great shots @Lawrence. And keep practicing with your Post processing as we all are always learning you have a great handle on it at present and can only improve, I to have similar issues to yours ;) . Patience is a virtue

Day 65

Don't go believing New Zealand has no snakes.
There are these "seed pod" snakes all over our lawn and kerb at the moment.

^^^ It is Scott Murray that's why I didn't have time to frame it properly. That and the fact he was really moving fast! ;)

Day 67

Well what can I say?

It is really hard to single out individuals when everyone on here has been so encouraging but I want to say a thank you to Scott Murray and @wud who have both been on my case to "improve your post processing - just keep at it" and Jake @BackdoorHippie who propelled me forward in less than 24 hours with Photoshop Elements 11.

There are many others who have been encouraging - even some SUPER moderators (you know who you are) - to me and I cannot thank you all enough.

I know it is not the done thing to put up crappy shots but this is my thread and today I am going to - for a reason.

This is the photo I started with.

And this is what I was able to do with it.

Not perfect but MAN what a huge improvement on my previous attempts at PP.

I took other photos today which I am now going to have a bit of fun with.

PS @wud I think I will be able to fix that singing cowboy now!

Thanks guys.
The previous photo was all about PSE11 this one is out of camera and the only change was a slight crop and small colour enhancement.

A rusty gutter (0r spouting as they call in New Zealand)

I just loved the colours to start with - all the blues, the yellow and the rust +++ the diagonal lines.
