Dumb question, how did we get to letter R???

Maybe the rules changed and I missed it....
"For example, if I were to post an image of a bird and titled it "Blue Jay", then the next person must have a photo that began with the letter y in Blue Jay. Let's say this person posted a photograph of a yardstick. The following poster would then have to begin with the letter k, because it is the last letter in yardstick."

I think it must be the "r" from number and not Kilowatts, but as the rules say it is the word used for the letter not the statement. Ha!

i will have to do some investigation of old posts, i thought i had always used the last letter in the post ie "blue jay in a tree" i would have used
e as last letter.
