Laptop vs. Desktop - Your Preference

I usually travel with the MacBook Air just because it's lighter (this is what I took on vacation last week), but if I'm planning to do more work off camera I'll travel with the MacBook Pro for the larger screen and more CPU/Memory.

I use the Macbook Air more now mainly because it's new. I use it for web browsing, email, and to practice phot editing. However, the Macbook Pro is devoted just for photo editing. The WiFi is only enabled when I need to do an update. The MB Pro has a 256GB SSD, 2.3GHz, and 16GB RAM. Whereas the MB Air only has 128GB SSD, 1.3GHz, and 8GB RAM. Also, 15" screen size does help for editing photos, compared to a 11" screen.
