I know, I have learned so much from everyone on here. It was fun setting up, checking and rechecking, even had to iron the sheet and use a lint roller. My wife didn't know that I knew how to iron.

Thanks again

Not good to let them learn that kind of detail. They will expect you to keep it up.

Ha, on Friday and Saturday I don't normally upload the pics, I will do it on Sunday or Monday. The weather is getting bad here so I will upload mine later.

Day 33, Frame built and using the new material. Not bad and will be fun for those bad weather days when I can't get outside, just need to perfect my lighting and such.

How about a photo of the frame? I intend building one too before winter sets in here.

Sorry for the bad phone pic, but sitting on a conference call.

So this is the farm laying on its side, the legs in the middle keep the frame from tipping over backwards.

So here is the parts list
7 - 1/2 x 24" PVC pipe
4 - 90 degree elbows
2 - 45 degree which you can see right by the legs
2 - T's to allow for the legs

I havent glued any of it because I want use it first to make sure its the way I like it. But I eventually want to be able to break it down and store out of the way.

Material is almost denim and its the thickest I could find. Might look for another type but for now it works. I bought 2 yards.

So it only takes 6 long pieces to make it, so the 7th piece is for the little pieces for the legs.

I know this may be clear as mud, but if you take a look at this table at BH then you can get the idea of what i did. I just dont have legs because this will be a table top version.

Heh, my "frame" and "backdrop" is usually my North Face jacket draped over a shoe box. I should work on a set-up like that too, methinks.

LOL...and they want $100 for that? LOL Like I'd ever pay that much for a simple shoot table! Unbelievable! DIY is certainly the way to go for something like this. Nice work, Kevin. :)

Thanks Jack, I did it for 40.00 which i overbought and could drop it to 30.00, got to go DIY to protect my lens budget.. I only needed 1 yard of material and bought 2.

I hear ya, but it seems on the cold wet days I dont really want to go outside and this was another way to get my picture for the 365. Its actually kind of fun and I get to play with my flash as well.
