Hi guys,

I'm working in Sweden for a few weeks - don't really have any time during the day (Well, I had 6 weeks in the summer) so i've decided to pack less clothes and the tripod has come along! haha, so I was seeking some CC to help me take some better night photos.

I have taken a few so far this being the best

Note: Photo is straight out of the camera, just re-sized for here.

Taken on a J1, 10-30mm Nikon 1 lens, f.3.5, ISO400, @10mm, WB auto [EDIT: Tripod and remote shutter release used]

Ah yes! I was looking at this thinking somethings wrong but I just can't put a finger on it. I have taken one closer, but its not a nice - I will see if I can get a chance to get back and take another closer (perhaps on a clearer night too - a lot of light on the cloud.) There is an awful block of flats in the distance behind this windmill, the only angle available is this one without getting it in.

Thanks, good pointer Nikonpup

I agree with Pup, the lights are a bit much. I do like the highlighted tree, might try cropping the windmill off center with the tree and see what that looks like. Lots of potential with that.

Thanks guys, didn't get a chance to revisit. No, I have a very basic free software - I'll get round to buying a half decent one after I upgrade my kit. Atleast this is being stored until I do get better software :)
