Nest building, too bad it was a cloudy day, these would be so much nicer with a bright blue sky.

Kim,

Your pictures are always so great. You do really good wild life photography. Do you have your settings on continuous to be able to get these mid action shots?

Great job!

Thanks,

Thanks Wendy, and yes, I pretty much always have my camera set on continuous as I like to have all the shots to choose from, it can make for a lot of pics to go through each day though! lol

Went for a walk to the little lake up the road, found this Turkey buzzard, there were actually two of them. Only a face a mother, or another buzzard could love!!! And the Loons are finally back! It was a beautiful walk.

I was able to get very close to this loon today, too bad the sun hadn't reached here yet, but it is still a cool shot I think.

I came across this pile of ants, there were MILLIONS of them, I didn't want to get to close, so the zoom was nice to have! lol

It was sunny today, so I went back for some brighter shots of the Ospreys today.

I think probably my most favorite type of photographs are of kids in swings...don't ask me why I just like pictures of kids in swings...they are almost invariably smiling and having a magical time...

Hanging out with each other, this pair stayed like this for about 15 minutes before the sheep lay down in the sun.

I love the big talons on these huge birds.
