Went out on the Gulf beach this week. You are right about it being to hot to walk on in the summer.

Dark sunglasses are a near necessity out there in the dead of summer, that white sand reflects the light as well as any reflector I have ever used!

I really like the color rendition of this lens. It almost has a late 70s/early 80s feel to it. Very nice depth to the image as well with the D700.
