I never do portraits or anything but my sister asked me to take her senior photos this year. We have only gone out shooting once and had about 30 minutes of sun left (why it's so warm). Going to be shooting more this spring for her too.

I feel as though I'm getting better but I definitely need to get out and shoot more! Part of me wants to try and submit some photos to local magazines/papers but I don't think I'm ready. Isn't there a saying something about "an artist is their own biggest critic" or something along those lines.

You won't know until you try. I submitted a photo that I thought was just okay to BirdWatching Magazine and they picked it for their online photo of the week.

Just do it!!!
