Sure will. I shoot static subjects at the lowest possible ISO. Sometimes landscapes require higher ISO. ie..the wind is blowing, but mostly for my landscapes I go with 100.Nice start Pete, will my D750 go down to ISO 100![]()
Hi Pete,
It's a very nice lens on your D750.
It's my walk around lens, sits on my cam most of the time.
Why did you use F9.5 with this picture?
I take mine mostly at F6.3-F8.0, in dark places F4.
If I want to use a bit more reach, a bit more tele, I can put my Kenko extender on my cam.
The Nikon extender won't fit, but this one does. And is working perfect.
The Kenko Teleplus 1.4 PRO 300 DGX.
Than I have a 170 (168) mm F5.6 lens, so on short holiday trips, I can travel quite light.
Have fun.

I much preferred the 24-120 over the 24-85 kit, even though they are a photo-finish in terms of IQ. But I just found myself wanting more reach, so I upped to the 28-300.
I was going back and forth with that idea myself (28-300) but I have my heart set on a Sigma 150-600mm-C lens in the future and this 24-120 made more sense to me, especially since I love my 70-300mm.
Also if I find that I'm not going to use my 20mm-D lens that much anymore, I'll sell that and put the money towards the Sigma.
That is down the road though. I spent plenty already this year.
You may not get an answer, @Blacktop hasn't been around since 2020.What is your opinion on the 20mm D glass?
