I just read through the specs on the Best Buy web site. It lists VR. Is that a feature of the camera body? :confused: If so, that's an amazing feature! ;)

Must be in the body as the lens is not labeled VR. I've taken some sharp shots at 1/25th. In some descriptions, the lenses are listed as VR, not sure but it works!

I got the V1 body only last summer and the FT1 adapter I was totally amazed at the quality the Nikon 1 can deliver using my FX lenses. So I decided to treat myself to my first Nikon 1 lens and it arrived today - the 18.5mm f/1.8 is so small. Cant wait to get out in the morning and give it a try out.

I just purchased my FT1 on ebay, just before X-mas. I won a bid and got it for just $190 -- brand new. I've only used mine once, but when attached to the 70-200 f4, it performs well. The auto focus is a little slower but it's expected. I also attached my 70-300mm, it's slower to focus, versus the 70-200 f4. You will be amazed at the 2.7 X crop and how close it brings subjects in.

Well the weather here this morning was awful really overcast and dark. But took out Charlie (our dog) for his walk as usual and tried out my new lens on the V1

Here is a picture of a lonely tree with a bit of PP to try and get something out of the sky.
The lens is very good.

We'll..., I really annoyed. It is coming from NYC which is usually 2 days and I ordered Sunday. Went with free shipping and tracking says next Tuesday ! I think sellers and shippers are holding stuff now if you don't pay extra for faster shipping. Same thing with the bag I ordered from Amazon, it's shipping from NYC and they say 8 days for the 5 hour road trip!

Oops! Sorry I asked.. :) I know that amazon does that.. I am a Prime member now so I typically get free 2 day (on MOST stuff)
