Well here is my last word on the Blazzeo radio trigger…lol.
I ordered the transmitter & four receivers, as I said they seem to be pretty well made.
I have had it for almost a week and it works great, no problems at all. So anyone looking for a cheap radio trigger set Blazzeo works great. Just remember no TTL function, but then none of the less expensive one do. Very good value.

Hi there, I am new here and i typed in to google "are Blazzeo triggers safe to use" and came across this forum.
The reason i asked that question was because i bought a couple from Ebay (link delight) as a photographer recommended them to me to use with my studio flash lights.
They were only around £10 a set...

Although they work fine I am a bit worried about using them as a guy I was talking to from a company that sells studio flash said that these types of trigger can eventually damage your studio flash lights. I am not sure of the exact technical reason but he mentioned something about it pulsing constantly.

So now I am too scared to use them! The last thing i want to do is damage over £1,000 worth of equipment

I am instead using my pocket wizards that I already owned - though they are a bit of a pain as the connection to the hotshoe tend to come loose every now and again.

Does anybody know what this guy could have meant by saying they are not safe?

or do you think he was just scare mongering in order to get me to buy his more expensive wireless triggers!

The thing is I do wonder what with them being only £10 when other brands are closer to £100...

Any advice or opinions would be very much appreciated!

Many thanks
Mikaela
