I'd like to see a theme that involves effects, such as a Brocken Spectre. Alas, the conditions that make a truly natural Brocken Spectre are fairly rare, and even the conditions that allowed me to create this semi-artificial Brocken Spectre are not at all common where I live. Some broader category really needs to be specified, of which a Brocken Spectre would fall under that category, but which would also include other effects that most of us have a much better chance of being able to see or create.

Let me say thanks to those who have added suggestions for the August Challenge. They are excellent suggestions, I think (Bob, I have to google that however. Ha!) Marcel, who took the top position for the July challenge, had suggested a theme early this morning via PM, but I did not have a chance until now to get back and get things going. I felt he should have first choice. The August Challenge should be up soon.
