while I waited for the computer tech to show so I could get my computer the other day I was next to the beach and could not help myslf. I got the tripod out and shot a few images while i waited.

And this weekend of course has been rather boring around here. Kind of in save mode right now so trying to limit the amount I get out. I did get the camera out and do a little shooting. Nothing special but it was different for me.

and of course I had to get one of my toyota. it has been getting a minor rust and paint surgery

Thanks Jack. I was more into the game that photographing it as it was their second playoff game. My nephew played his heart out though. I also shot these in JPEG as I was not expecting to do anything with these except for color correction. Just gonna give them to my sister inlaw and let her distribute them to the kids parents. Might generate some business while I am slow here in the southern end of hell. really looking forward to getting back to the western states

First off nice shot. Have to laugh though, at this age the helmets look so big compared to the rest of their bodies. I remember playing at this age, and I'm sure my mom has pictures tucked away somewhere waiting for the day to take them out and embarrass me.

LOL that was one reason I liked this shot im particular, the QB was so small that the helmet is just huge on him lol
Sadly they lost. It seems that they were doomed from the start. The other team was much better prepared for them than they were for the other team. even double teaming my nephew from the opening drive.
What really shocked me was how much pressure the parents and even the coaches put on the kids this young to win. Almost like it was going to humiliate the adults if the kids lost. Had a hard time with that myself and after the game told my nephew to hold his head high and I was proud of him.

Sorry I have been out most of the week and have not had much time to post or participate in the community. I was remodeling a house all last week and during a short soda break I seen a resident gopher turtle come out to say hi. I went to get my camera and when I turned around I got to watch 2 of these cool turtle do a little fighting. I have never seen this before so to me it was cool. they would litterally ram eachother over and over. the looser ran toward me to get away with the winner hot in its tail. it was full daylight with harsh sun but had to take the shots as they came

yeah but they were not cooperating with my land locked location lol. every time I tried to get ahead of them so I was not shooting into the sun they would keep pace with me and then go further out. oh well maybe next time lol

well I am able to log in to facebook and into Nikonites but not loggin with the FB button on the Nikonites site itself... IDk

So as I said here last week I have been working on a home remodel the last cpl weeks and have not been around as much as I would like. couple that with not being able to log in Via facebook like normal so I cant get into my normal profile.
Anyways here are a couple images from the weekend and today

well I finally got around to getting our xmas pictures done. Lord it is a PITA to do your own pictures. compose, pose, wait, compose, wait, shoot. But the wife is happy now so what ever. I am not to into being IN the pictures but the wife demands I do it once a year. These are not the one being used but they were in the top 3.
