Time for a ND filter?

I had one on actually. I had a Hoya Variable. IDK why but the effect becomes very uneven as an ND8, but works great from 2-6. Using a Grad ND on top of this would have been perfect but I left it in the truck when I headed out and I would have had to hand hold for 30 seconds...

Well unfortunately I had to switch from firefox back to IE and for some reason I can not log in through Facebook on IE. wish this could be fixed. I like this community
