Just a couple pics to provide an example to what I said in a thread elsewhere. It's not always about getting the perfect pic. I know the metal rod really messes up the first pic but I still had fun taking these pics. She was at the bird feeder this morning and I came out the door with some peanuts. She saw me and ran down the railing. I figured she was going to run off but she slowly weaved her way over to where I was. She came to within about a foot of me and stood there and stared at me. I tossed her a peanut, she grabbed it and off she went.

I then got my camera when she came back. (I'm pretty sure this one is a she). I still haven't been able to get her to listen to my posing instructions yet.

I suppose people might be getting tired of squirrel pics but I don't care. LOL. There wasn't any food in the feeder so the stubbed tailed squirrel was sitting on the deck waiting for me. I noticed something else in the tree behind her and saw it was another squirrel. That was kind of odd because she would usually run another squirrel off. As it turns out she brought her baby along this morning.

Day 136......I learned something new again today. The Ohio River is up and I sort of got a chuckle thinking to myself that these people were fishing in a parking lot. I wanted to ask permission to take a picture and started talking to them about the fishing. I've never really fished the Ohio. I'm not far from the mountains and usually trout fish. Anyway they tell me in the spring with the water up all the fish head for the shore. They were catching many different fish and pretty quickly.

Sorry, for day 139 pretty much nothing. Getting ready for work. Fun story though......I get home this morning around 7 am and the stubbed tailed squirrel is running down the sidewalk. I make this clicking noise I make when I go out and feed her. She stopped and sat up. I said to her......"come on" and went in the house.

My wife asked me what I was doing as I went into the cabinet to get some peanuts and told her to watch. As soon as I went on the back porch, here she same. Came up on the porch and waited for her peanuts. My wife just shook her head. LOL
