Jason Odell is moving from Capture NX2 to Lightroom!

Jason Odell, who has long been an advocate for Capture NX2 for Nikon shooters, announced on his blog that he is moving to Lightroom for the majority of his post processing. I was surprised that he made the move, but impressed with his reasoning. I especially liked that he based his reasoning on what is best for a Nikon shooter. Good read.

I haven't had a chance to work with Capture NX2. Is it really something worth looking into? I'm quite happy with Lightroom 4 and PS when necessary.

I played with it, but stayed with Elements and moved to Lightroom from there. The control points are nice, but I wouldn't go running there. Had no idea they hadn't touched it since 2008, and with Nik now being under the Google umbrella who knows what'll happen there?!

I use it about 40% of the time Lightroom the rest of the time.

I hardly used Capture NX2 once LR4 came out and didn't even load it when I replaced my MacBook in December.
