14/11/14 bags packed. D800, D3100, Yongnuo YN565EX Flash, Nikon 50mm f1.8, sigma 24-70 f2.8 and a sigma 70-200 f2.8.
My D800 arrived back from repair just in time for tomorrow as I'm at a wedding and doing a little shooting on the evening do.

Cheers vixen, Totally out of ideas so I decided to play with the lights. I'm impressed with how it came out. I guess sometimes its just the silly shots that work out best.

20/11/14 Its not about fashion or function its just about comfort. But not for long as my trusty samba are destine for the bin if the wife finds them!
In the RAW editor I turned the clarity up to 11 on this as I wanted this to over the top. then I adjusted the the highlights, shadows, blacks, whites and contrast. Then in Photoshop I cropped square, sharpened played with levels and curves until I got the look I wanted. It almost looks black and white but its not.

OK this isn't my usual thing but as I looked at my shot from today, the more I looked the more I hated it so I re-shot it.
