Is your shutter loud?

I don't own a D3200, but I have a D3000 and my girlfriend has a D3100, and I can tell you that they're both pretty loud, so I imagine a D3200 wouldn't be too different. It's a small body for the size of the shutter, so I think that is part of it - the noise reverberates through a smaller space - there's no insulation around it, really.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I went to Best Buy yesterday and compared different cameras. Oddly enough, this was the quietest dslr they had. I suppose that I am just so accustomed to point and shoots not having this problem. I am going to take it out this weekend and see what I can do with it.
