Is it the camera (D3200) the lens (Nikkor 70-300) or me?

idk if it's meaningless. it's still a photo shot using different techniques in different lighting and i personally think it looks a bit crisper.

Brent wanted to find out if it was a result of the lens not performing well at 300mm, thats why he said meaningless,that lens was always better zoomed back a bit,i have had two and whilst ok at 300mm under 250mm they where sharper.
