Is Idaho a Photogenic Area For a Nature Photographer?

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Idaho and we are both avid nature photographers. Having never been there and only seeing photographs, we would like to get other photographers impressions of Idaho. We especially love mountains and forested areas.

​Also, if you know, is the northern area of Idaho more photogenic than the southern region?

With the exception of Detroit you could probably find beauty just about any place in the US BUT more in some places than others.

The Heidelberg Project | Open-Air Art | Art Education | Detroit And we have the DIA (Detroit institute of arts), Science museum... we have a few things. Granted I'm from Wixom, about 45 min away. And we have construction. But we have a few parks around the area. lol.

Wow! I guess a photo is worth a thousand words! And several photos is worth 1,000,000 words!
Yes, Idaho looks beautiful. And it's one of those states nobody ever thinks about, like South Dakota.
The only thing I know about Idaho, except for it's beautiful scenery, is their yummy potatoes!
