My friend Isac has been at it again, he used the Kookaburra image I posted on the previous page of this thread :)
Edit- he replaced the wire with a branch, and applied the oil filter look.

Grey Fantail.

This was taken with the Better Beamer on the Yongnuo again. It was late afternoon and the sun had gone behind the hill, not much light left. I wouldn't have got a usable shot without it.

i tried this once, my mate was selling his, wish i had bought it now, comes in handy sometimes.

I really like what it can do for you if the light isnt the greatest where you are shooting. The downside for me is the extra weight it puts on the camera, you start to notice it after an hour or so.

I spotted this Azure Kingfisher asleep in a small tree on the shady bank of my creek today.
Lucky I had the Better Beamer with me...

Some more Azure Kingfisher pics I took this morning down at the creek that runs past my house.
Taken using the Yongnou 568 and Better Beamer.

I've wondered how the birds take to the sudden flash. Does it frighten them at all?

They take it surprisingly well Vixen, sometimes I think they hang around longer out of curiosity when the flash is going off.

That's good to know. I've put off using a flash so far as I didn't want to scare the birds. My shutter noise is sometimes enough to scare them off

I have been experimenting with taking photos of a glass, trying to get a reflection.

This one is a reflection on the white surface in front of the glass.

This one is using 2 glasses, the lower one has the etch turned to the back in an attempt to make it look more like a reflection.

This one has the reflection done in PP with Affinity Photo.
