Hi All, 'bout time I started a new thread.

I just had a visit from this Rock Wallaby. Taken through the glass on one of the doors on my house, he was about 12 feet away from me.

Seems to be problems with loading images, I had to use the basic uploader to get this one to load.

it helps if you use chrome to upload photos to the site. Also you will need to unlock flash setting in chrome setup. You then should see a
lock icon in the address bar, click on it and allow flash, then reload site. One pain in the a.. To post more than on photo at a time.

Nice stuff, I remember being on Daydream Island a good few years ago and those birds scared the living shits out of me.... walking back to my room at night, dark paths and I must have gotten too close to a nest or bird and damn the noise those things make is hellish...

A shot I took on my verandah table a couple of months ago, just got around to processing it.

This was handheld, no flash.
It would have benefited from a narrower aperture.

I made these two Rollerball pens late last year for retirement gifts for my Doctor and her Husband.
Bothe made from Acrylic Acetate, and Black Ebonite, I made the clips from a stainless steel band off an old hose clamp.

And a fountain pen I made late last year.
Made from Acrylic Acetate, and stainless steel salvaged off an old hose clamp for the clip. Fitted with a JoWo #6 stainless steel nib.

Flame Lily ( Gloriosa Superba ) , national flower of Zimbabwe, I was told of this by @Lawrence
.
They are growing well in my garden this year. They seem to die off in the winter months, but come back with a vengeance once it starts raining.

A new fountain pen in progress. Starting with a piece of Musk from Tasmania, and some green acrylic.
Still to do, make the section to hold the nib, and turn the cap, and make a clip.
