I had an iPhone 5 for about week before I sold it on ebay

Just a heads up, Jailbreaking alone will not allow you to switch networks. You need to jailbreak the phone, THEN unlock it. And as of now, you can not unlock the iPhone 5.

Also I may suggest getting the iPhone 4s. It's a global phone, still super powerful even when compared to the iPhone 5, cheaper, and has the traditional 30 pin connector, not this new crappy lightening connector. ie. cheaper accessories, and it will work with anything made for the iPod/iPhone/iPad since 2001

Hmmm..... I like my IPhone 4 not looking forward to the 5 or any other model. The 4 does everything I want it to do( a bit slow) and more.

I have the 5 and love it. It is great. I get pretty fast speeds even though my area is still just on 4G. Traveling in a LTE area it is blisteringly fast. Would not trade it for anything. My wife is still using a 4S but will trade it for a 5 soon.
