Instagram has implemented a new policy whereby, your uploaded material turns into a Copyright grab for them to sell as they see fit.

Another SLEAZY company makes a move on your photographic copyrights.

Here is the FORBES article link:

Instagram's New Policies Could Put Them Out of Business - Forbes

I have heard that because of the public outrage, they may back down if they have not already.

I IMMEDIATELY wrote them a nasty letter and DELETED MY ACCOUNT.

No thanks, INSTAGRAM.

The very fact they tried this stunt means their service is NOT FOR ME.

Be aware, if you have images UPLOADED on Instagram!

yes, it made ABC news last night, saying that the company backed down, but, is getting me to think,

I am going to remove all my images from Facebook, and start posting just a link to my own website for when I share pictures, People will have to follow the link, but at least Facebook can never claim ownership.

The fact they tried this means they are SLEAZEBAGS!! Just like National Geographic and everyone else who thinks just because you upload something to their site, they can use it free for ever!! GOOGLE TOO!!

I am glad I deleted. Piss on them.

I have not read Facebooks fine print. I typically post small, 72 DPI images on there. Good luck doing much with them.
