i was down getting a curry and there was a Indian wedding in the local Indian restaurant tonight, i just seen the guests going into a side hall, i dont think it was as elaborate as yours aroy.

An elaborate Indian Wedding takes a lot of effort and money, so only the very rich can afford a big function and muti-day celebration. Most Indians abroad have a simple ceremony lasting an hour or so, and their guest list is limited to less than a hundred.

Nice shots. As you mentioned, with D3300 even ISO of 1000 would give decent results in terms of noise.

Do you shoot in raw ?

Yes. I shoot only RAW, as most of the time the exposure is not to my liking. I use the sensor DR to adjust from 1EV overexposure to upto 5EV under exposure, plus Active D Lighting to recover shadows.

What I have noticed is that there is noise in the shadows at all ISO, but upto ISO 1600 none in the bright areas.
