Hi all! I'm new to this forum but have be a committed Nikon user for many years (a D5100 at the moment but looking to upgrade soon).

I found this thread when Googling Michael Carroll Media Drum, because I have received a similar approach and contract.

Can I ask how anyone's experience with Media Drum went please?

They have changed the payment terms to 30 days, and seem to have several new members of staff, looking at their website and correspondence.

Ive had one bad experience with a different media agency, but this lot seem ok so far. Did anyone do ok or have any problems with them please?

This thread was started in the spring of 2015. I am sure by now someone has had some experience with Media Drum, good or bad. The continued silence only makes me believe they were bad and they force everyone to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Well I have not received any money from them for my images, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Very sorry to hear that!

It might be interesting to try one of the searches at this link (How To Find Out if Images Have Been Stolen | Stop Stealing Photos) and see if you can tell how the handful of images you sent might have been used.

Just in the interest of fairness, I ended up doing three articles with this lot, and I have been paid as agreed for the first one, hopefully will be for the others later this month too. Just in case anyone Googles the same question I did in the future, my experience has thankfully been ok!

This thread was started in the spring of 2015 and has been dead since 2017. The only actual report received is negative. I would run the other direction.
