Some general battlefield shots I did not stop and take pictures of all the monument since I've been there about four times over the last 10 years

Gawd knows I loves me some guerrilla photography... Not that I have ever bent the law, scaled or cut any fences, eluded, evaded or run like hell from security/law enforcement to get such shots personally. That uh... That would be wrong.

*cough*

A few more shots from today, including the valley of death shot from my F150. I was glad to have the truck with me to create my own turnoffs; a few times I had to put it in four-wheel-drive to get out.

The Battle at Gettysburg was one of the bloodiest in American history. The Civil War really divided the nation. I've read accounts of brother against brother, on the battlefield.

A jogger got a $100 ticket here, but I have not seen a park ranger before 9 am. I was annoyed to see cones at a pull over area on a Public road, I parked anyway.

This is beyond absurd. They incur expense to stop people from doing things that would otherwise not cost them anything.

I wonder if the ticket could be questioned if the person tried to dispute it? There is a New Jersey radio station broadcasting a car dealership commercial. The ad tells people to go ahead and park by fire hydrants because no firemen will be using the hydrants. The narrator is saying all this as a joke, but I do wonder if any tickets issued can be thrown out in court.

I'm hoping the folks that received these tickets fight them in federal court and we'll see what happens, will bevery interesting
