I have been sitting here thinking about getting my new flash (SB-910) and thinking of whats the 1st photo I am going to try with it and then it hits me. I am going to back light a magnetic termite mound with it with the milky way/clouds (night time) and then use fill flash or light painting on the termite mound front... Should work

Try using the flash with yellow, orange, or green filter to make it more interesting. I would go manual mode and just point it to barely illuminate the mound.
