I checked the resolution of the "full size" image and it was/is 1024x769.

Now, that should be 768.

By my reckoning you should be seeing a problem on the two sides, but who knows?

Check that your images, after resizing, are TRUE 4:3 (1024x768 or 2048x1536 etc) and does it make a difference?

Ian,

I clicked on each image to get the full res image.

I right clicked on the full res images and chose "View Image Info".

In some cases the AR and the Resolution match up but in others there is a 1 pixel discrepancy.

Example: The plane image is 4:3 but its res is 1024x769.

That could be coming from your Image Editor or the resizing taking place somewhere else.

Thanks Dave. I don't think the 1 pixel is doing it. The plane has the extra pixel, but no line. In the app, I am simply selecting a 4:3 crop. It seems as though it may be the forum software. The Lavender was also a 4:3 crop, but it doesn't have the extra pixel.
