I hired a "pro" to shoot me in the nude.

I Imagine the Conversation Going Something Like This...

"Hi Blacktop, I'm Dick, your photographer. Go ahead and disrobe for me.

"No, do it slow.

...

"Yeah, that's it..."

...

And will you share some of the photos from the shoot with us? ;)

Did you think about setting this up as a self shot session? Joking aside (for now anyway) couldnt you just set up the shoot and take like a bazillion shots of yourself (trust me,there is a forum in here about light, timer delays and remote shutter releases, etc) and then edit the shots yourself? If you dont have the equipment (snicker) to pull off (giggle) the shoot (OK now I am laughing...sorry) you could probably rent it for the price of a"pro". (insert renting of pro joke here) Also, you could then crop (ouch) or enlarge any aspect of the shot you like (and not worry about the 85mm lens at all)

LOL. Blacktop, are you serious? Not making joke's here. But your question begs a little sarcasm. And the thoughts I have running through my head with all the replies is not good.
Not good at all. A similar thread was posted just a few days ago about "another pro photographer" or something like that. It's not the gear or technique used, it's the results one should look at. Although you it makes you wonder sometimes.
When have you known me to joke around? I'm going to have to look into this other thread that you speak of and maybe even learn something.

I already paid the photog for this upcoming shoot, but he was real nice and said that I could take selfies while he's doing the shoot as long as I don't get in the way.

Yes, as soon as he gets through with PP. Lots of cropping and distortion fixing still needs to be done.
I let him use my Tokina 11-16.
Otherwise I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I would highly recommend him to friends.

I feel if you're in the "RAW". He should shoot in raw. As for getting shot in the Buff. I wouldn't do it. Besides I would be using my reversing ring for my shots. LOL
