Weather isn't condusive to get out and shoot with it, but it seems soft from 1.8 to 4. It really improves at 5.6 and beyond.

This is part of my getting 4 small primes for an ultra-light / compact travel kit.

I have a 50mm f/1.8 D lens so I am not in need of one now. I was mostly curious since I had contemplated getting one as they are pretty cheap on eBay. But, if you are hankering to get rid of one I will take it. :)
