I just wanted to say that I did something this morning that I would never have done before. I used my tripod to take a long exposure (6") of a still subject indoors.

In the past I would simply have used the flash and been done with it but the clarity is unreal this way. Silly I know but I wanted to share just to say how amazing a tripod really is - even for irrelevant shots.

Awww …. I thought you would never ask.

Just a silly couple of photos of my old Pentax and lenses that I want to sell on Trade me. I was hoping to capture the specs of the lens and I did. They really aren't at all interesting as photos.

Tripods are great! Want really sharp pics use a tripod, especially with long lenses.

Thought I would put one of them up after all. This has been cropped and resized otherwise untouched.



​I was trying to get the 28mm 2.8 in and am happy with the result.
