Here's my favorite hack for the 750. You can assign the video button (red one on top by shutter release). I set mine to ISO. Gives you one-handed control over exposure triangle. And, you'll see how good it is once you put a 2 grand lens on it, shoot at 12,800 and focus (almost) in the dark! :)

Do you seriously want to see me die?:D Thanks for the ISO tip.

I haven't shot many at 12,800, but here's one. I wanted to get a photo of the truck that had crashed, only had my 24-70 and it was dark. Slight NR in LR6.

But I have shot a number of pics at 6400 and they're pretty clean....

Here is one I took at the Sonora caverns. People were pushing me which is why my shoot is not strait on. Iso 12800 with camera raw noise reduction.

Thanks for those cave shots. Mary wants to visit a few caverns around here, but I'm just not interested in going anywhere where I can't use my camera. Now I will be confident to take the D750 (official name has not been chosen yet) and come out with a few decent shots.

You're welcome. In most of the cave I was able to stay at 6400 and even got some at 3200 iso!

Thanks. I never thought of doing that, but it makes sense.
Pretty sure it's fine. It's all weather sealed. If your lens has a rubber gasket you don't need to worry. I just did it for peace of mind.

The only thing I can say is VR helped a TON in the cave. They wouldn't let me being in a tripod it a mono pod.
