How to measure the 'shutter-count' of a DSLR ?

I did not find it in the EXIF data of the images from my D3100.. so pl tell me how to measure the 'shutter-count' of a DSLR....

Another way is to use the BEST exif reader out there: ExifTool by Phil Harvey
@just download the appropriate version, copy the "exe" to your computer's desktop, and "drag" the file containing your photo to that "exe" and "drop" it

Shoot a picture .jpg, download free exif software Opanda and view the picture with it and scroll down to find shutter count.

i use a shutter count program for NIKON which I downloaded free to my galaxy note from the google play store. Works like a charm!
