How many lenses do you own?

I have a few, quite a few but since my name is on my pictures I don't want to advertise them.

I recently was surprised to take test shots with a few lenses at 35mm. The main surprise was to find my Tamron 17-50 2.8 sharper than my Nikkor 17-55 3.8. My sharpest was the 35-70 2.8. All shots were done on a tripod, mirror up at f4. The main problem with this 35-70 is that it won't work with backlight and is pretty soft at 2.8.

Today I couldn't resist hurting my bank account with some photographic retail therapy and bought a Nikon 24mm f/3.5 PC-E lens, otherwise called Tilt & Shift.
I still have to get the hang of it, but for landscape it seems to be the perfect tool on a D800.

I just did a photomerge with 3 photos taken at full shift left, no shift, and full right: I obtained a 60MP image sharp as hell!

Also, the ability to tilt at f/8 should give me perfect sharp landscape images, therefore avoiding to stop down the aperture further and null the risk of diffraction.
But the one aspect that particularly attracts me would be full body portraits using the tilt to give some nice blurry effects.
