How good is photoshop

Not perfect, i missed two shots today of the same goose flying past,i got a back end and a front end,for a bit of fun i thought i would see what elements could do with it on auto panorama,i was a little surprised to say the least,

The only thing i did was resize the originals first i dont know where the extra wing height came in

I tried your technique on a shot I did yesterday. I loved the shot but missed part of the bird when I shot it so I went back and worked on it today

Very good shot, Don. I wouldn't even notice that something was added if not for the water in the right one-third of the image. Looks repetitive. A more randomised cloning should cure it easily. Can we see the original shot?

I see I'm not the only one using cheap trickery.

It's a nice trick Mike, I'm going to use that next time something in my shot is missing. I killed some good shots because of a small part missing. This far I only used parts of different shots to fix motion blur or bad parts in another but I never did think of doing what you did.

A friend took the shot off facebook and played with it in photoshop and got the result I want, so I know it can be done but I don't know how? I don't even know the correct terms to search for to get a youtube tutorial.
