Ted, Thank you I am heading to Germany and Switzerland in two weeks I plan on many hdr photos, as a matter of fact today I am setting up the user #1 setting on my d7200 specifically for HDR photos.

Besides shooting bracketed for HDR alone, you are also getting 3 exposures to pick from if you don't want the HDR effect. For a trip like yours, it's the only way I'd do it. Have fun.
